Tryout Information - 2010 Season |
|
The Marshals will be having private tryouts during the month of August and September to solidify the 2010 team. These tryouts will be held at Trinity Christian Academy by appointment only. We're hopeful the nucleus of our team will remain intact as we look to add a few skilled players who love the game. The Marshals to date in 2009 are 51-9 and have played most of the top ranked teams in the country. This is clearly to state we are looking for highly skilled players who have the work ethic and fortitude to improve thru hard work.
The 10U Marshals are dedicated to providing a great learning environment while playing at a high level without the usual expenses of a typical select team.

The Marshals traveled to Orlamdo, FL to play in the prestigious USSSA Elite 32 World Series. The team had a great time and played to the last day but came up short. The Marshals went 2-1 in pool play beating the West Tennessee Wildcats 6-5 and the Arizona Tigers 8-1. The Marshals lost the first bracket game to the NC Indians 5-2 and had to battle back thru the losers bracket the rest of the way. The Marshals went on a run beating the Pace Sea Dogs 9-1 and Bullets Baseball 16-6 after being down 6-0 in the third. The Marshals than beat the Orlando Warriors 10-0 who had just knocked off Mizuno's Glory. This brought a rematch against the NC Indians.......the Marshals were sloppy early and fell behind but battled back to tie it at 9-9 in the fourth......the Indians went up 12-9 but the Marshals rallied for two more but came up short 12-11.
It was a great experience and everybody had fun at the parks, pools, and on the ball fields.
